Our son and his family live in China. Brad, Su and little Cailin brought this beautiful ornate, woven silk table runner from Beijing on their last visit. Sometimes, when there are several people here for dinner, I drape it over a bedroom door and out of harms way. Following one early meditation, I looked up to see the morning light caressing its finely textured surface. There are no accidents at such a time. In that moment of sacred light, I intimately felt the art of the artist, the love of my family and the beauty of a China Morning I truly wanted to share.
