Not only my favorite sentiment, It’s also the name of our daughter Judy’s cat. Filled with heart-felt emotion, she named this lovely creature so the very act of saying its name would announce her true feeling. Judy had “I love you” for many devoted years. Now that her cat is gone, she thinks fondly of another, to become perhaps, “I Love You II”. The rendering is a warm pastel pencil depiction of “I Love You” relaxing in the living room of a Seattle friend’s condominium. I chose the medium for its light, warm identity with this old and dear friend who truly lived up to her name.
