Sometimes he’s there. Other times he’s not. It’s a hunting tree for him. For me, it’s where he rests between forages; a place to treasure. As the symbol of America, this eagle does far more than share his tree with me. Together we overlook an ocean of tranquil light; of quieter, more settled times and we each remember what we share. We are home.
